Let’s start by setting the scene for your dinner hour. At this point, you and your guests have had a pretty eventful day together and are due for a breather.
After getting ready for your ceremony, exchanging vows, and taking pictures, your dinner hour will give you a chance to relax, recharge, and share your first meal together as husband and wife. This is also a perfect time to wander from table to table, visiting with your guests, before the dancing and other fun activities begin. And the best way to make it a magical moment is with music.
It’s time to pick out the perfect music for your dinner hour. When planning your music, think about creating a relaxing ambiance, within reason.
Playing soft background music will help everyone relax as they enjoy their meal. But, keep in mind that we don't want anyone getting too relaxed, to the point of being tired.
Throwing a few uptempo songs into your dinner playlist is a perfect way to keep things interesting. And the great news is, that any genre of music will work. So, as long as it will fill the room with a happy vibe, feel free to play anything, from romantic love songs, to tunes from your favorite artist.
